Hullo, So do you want the bad news or the good news first ? Ok then bad news it is: It is with a very heavy heart and a few deep breaths that I tell you the three songs I recorded in the studio with Cam and friends have been lost. When I say lost I don't mean they will eventually find their way back to me. I mean they are gone for good. We don't know what exactly went wrong but there was some sort of computer failure at the studio and somehow my tracks were gobbled up in the process. What can I say? It sucks but what's done is done. We will head back into the studio ( hopefully ) very soon and try this all again. I pray that maybe practice will make perfect and these new versions will turn out even better the first takes. Keep your fingers crossed for me, K ?

Onto the good news : Oktopus aka 1/3 of Dalek has turned in his track and damn do I love it. The song itself is actually a few years old and originally written by Barry London ( Jah Division ) and I when we had a home recording project called the Scissorettes. We never formally recorded anything but the song "Miss Me" remained a favorite and something I dreamed of recording properly. So here it is, like 5 years later and the song sounds better than ever.

More good news : I am happy to officially announce two more people who have been kind enough to share their talents with me for this record. I couldn't be any more honored and thrilled to tell you Aaron Turner ( Isis, Old Man Gloom, Hydra Head Records ) is working on a track for me right now. Its being recorded as I type this so I have yet to hear it but come on...it's Aaron we are talking about here and we know it will RULE !!! I am probably more excited about this than you are. Here is one more item to file under good news : Rex Ritter ( Sunn0))) , Fontanelle, Jessamine ) has also been sent his track and begins work on it shortly. Yeah, I know, pretty amazing...right ? I couldn't ask for better help and seriously I can't guess what to expect from this collaboration other than the obvious.... awesome. For all the hurdles I have faced making this record finally come true I know it will all be worth it in the end. As more songs are finished I promise to put up a track listing and all the artists involved in this here Ringfinger project. There are still a few special guests to list to keep on checking back.
